Order Policy

~ HOW TO PLACE AN ORDER ~

1. We accept orders via our online ordering forms to ensure accountability and accuracy.  WE DO NOT ACCEPT ORDERS VIA SOCIAL MEDIA OR TEXT. 

2. Orders are processed according to the information that you provide on your order form.

3. Orders are not confirmed until a deposit is received on your order.

4. Sorry, but we do not process cash-on-delivery orders. Orders must be paid in full in advance according to the payment timeline policy below.


Payment Process

We accept US dollars or credit cards via PayPal.   WE DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS, PAYMENT ON DELIVERY/PICK_UP OR I.O.Us.  **We only accept checks from pre-approved businesses and organizations local bank accounts.


ALL ORDERS MUST BE PAID IN FULL IN ADVANCE! ORDERS MUST BE PAID IN FULL NO LATER THAN THE DATED LISTED ON YOUR INVOICE, PHONE QUOTE OR EMAIL QUOTE. Failure to do so will result in your order being cancelled. 

By failing to pay balance on your order by your due date, you forfeit your deposit and will not be issued a refund, credit or transfer of deposit. When we accept your order, we turn down other orders to accommodate you.


Deposits, Cancellations, Changes & Refunds 

***Please note that orders are not scheduled on our calendar until the required deposit is received.

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required in order to secure your date. This deposit will be applied to your order total. The remainder is due at least 1 week prior to delivery or pick up date (unless otherwise stated on your invoice). 


Orders placed less than 1 week prior to your delivery date must be paid in full at time of reservation.


All notifications of any changes regarding your order and/or delivery or pick up date MUST be made via email. If you notify us that your event is canceled or postponed at least 14 business days (30 business days for wedding cakes) prior to your delivery date, your deposit and all other payments are refundable minus the cost of supplies that we have already purchased (if any) for your order. If you notify us less than 14 business (30 business days for wedding cakes) prior to your delivery date, your deposit and all other payments made are non-refundable, but will be applied towards a future order or refunded in the form of a TCS gift certificate of equal refund value.  Use of this tranfer credit or gift certificate is subject to our available dates only.


If for any reason, we are unable to fulfill your order due to reason's beyond our control (natural disasters, power outages or worker illness), your deposit and all payments made will be refunded in full. 


Order Time Guide

***Please note that our calendar fills up fast!  Some of our clients reserve dates as early as two months in advance. 

RESERVATION DATES ARE SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY! Orders are not scheduled on our calendar until a deposit has been received.


Here is our recommended reservation time line.  If you are past this time, please feel free to contact us anyway to see if we have availability.

Decorated Party Cakes

up to 50 servings - 7 business days notice

51-100 servings - 12 business days notice

101 servings or more -20 business days notice


Wedding Cakes  

6 weeks notice 


Rush Fee

Orders submitted after the required time frame may be charged a rush fee. Please plan accordingly!


Color Matching  /  Picture Matching

We cannot guarantee a 100% color match, but will try our best to match if a color swatch is provided. If you do not provide a sample color, we will tint the buttercream or fondant to the best of our judgement.  


While we will create your dessert as close as we can to the picture you provide, we do not guarantee a direct copy of someone else's creations. 


Storage

As preservatives are not used in our products, please keep in mind that our desserts are best served the day of or within 2 to 3 days after delivery or pick up if stored properly.


Food Allergies

We DO NOT offer allergen free products.  Please note that all of our desserts are produced in a kitchen were nuts, gluten and other possible food allergens are use.  We do not guarantee any of our foods are allergen free.


We are not a certified Kosher establishment. 


Some of our products may contain nuts and other possible food allergens. Our desserts are processed in a kitchen where nuts are used. Those with nut allergies or other food allergies should not consume our products. For more information, please contact us.


Delivery 


We only offer delivery to Ramstein, Vogelweh and Landstuhl  bases.

 Although we do our very best to deliver before the time requested, we only have one delivery driver at this time. Please allow a 1 hour window for all delivery times. Delivery fee applies.


Transportation 

We DO NOT recommend transporting your dessert on a lap.  While you may think this is a good option, the body absords the shock of each little bump you hit.  This will affect the stabilization of your dessert.

We recommend transporting the dessert on the floor of your vehicle being sure to turn of your air condition floor vents.

Never transport your desserts in a hot car.

Do not leave the dessert in a hot car for any period of time.

Do not transport the dessert in the trunk of your car

Do not transport dessert on the seat on your vehicle.  The slight angle in the seat can cause your dessert to slide or fall over.  


Storage 

Once at your destination, refrigerate your cake or cupcakes if not being served right away.  Cakes with cream cheese icing and fruit fillings must be refrigerated. On hot days, cakes and cupcakes should be kept cool as our buttercream will melt! As preservatives are not used in our products, please keep in mind that cupcakes and cakes are best served the day or the day after you pick up your order and will keep fresh for about 2 to 3 days afterwards if stored properly.


Damages  

We are not responsible for damages to your order after the order has been picked up or delivered.


Equipment Rental Deposit Fees  Since our cakes tend to be much larger than most bakeries, some of our cakes require special cake boards and/or assembly pieces. These items require a deposit fee which will be returned to you in full once you have returned the items to us cleaned and in the same physical condition in which it was delivered to you.


Design/Order Changes

While we will ALWAYS do our very best to keep your design as close to what you desire, please understand that cake and sugar can be a bit temperamental at times. Trinity's Custom Sweets designers reserve the right to make any last minute adjustments to orders/designs as needed.


Changes to Policy and/or Prices

We do our very best to keep our prices and policies as stable as possible. Due to unexpected prices changes with our suppliers, our policies and/or prices are subject to change without notice.
